No Brexit agreement yet: Theresa May

Prime Minister Theresa May told journalists that no Brexit agreement had been reached following talks in Brussels?

It had been thought that agreement between the UK and the European Union had been reached but a deal was ruled out after the ruling party in Northern Ireland, the Democratic Unionist Party, the  DUP,  announced they would not accept any special arrangements that involved Northern Ireland.

The stumbling point is the border between North and South Ireland. The Republic of Ireland does not want a hard border, Westminster seemed to agree with that, Northern Ireland’s ruling party did not agree with the deal reached in Brussels.
